Had my Numan venous blood test results back and wanted to share for feedback. I’m currently on Mounjaro and losing weight, but I’ve been feeling low energy, low drive/motivation and not quite myself, so I got a full testosterone blood panel done. Main hormone results: Total Testosterone: 9.16 nmol/L — LOW Free Testosterone: 0.193 nmol/L — LOW SHBG: 24.5 nmol/L — NORMAL FAI: 37.4% — NORMAL Estradiol: 81 pmol/L — NORMAL LH: 4.9 U/L — NORMAL FSH: 5.2 U/L — NORMAL Prolactin: 142 mU/L — NORMAL PSA: 0.8 ng/mL Cholesterol / metabolic: Triglycerides: 0.9 mmol/L — NORMAL Total Cholesterol: 5.0 mmol/L — HIGH LDL: 3.3 mmol/L — HIGH HDL: 1.3 mmol/L — LOW Cholesterol:HDL Ratio: 3.8 — NORMAL Non-HDL Cholesterol: 3.7 mmol/L — HIGH HbA1c: 37 mmol/mol — NORMAL Thyroid: TSH: 0.63 mU/L — NORMAL Free T4: 20.7 pmol/L — NORMAL Liver / kidney: ALT: 121 U/L — VERY HIGH AST: 50.8 U/L — HIGH GGT: 111 U/L — HIGH ALP: 96 U/L — NORMAL Bilirubin: 9 umol/L — NORMAL Albumin: 50 g/L — HIGH Urea: 8.6 mmol/L — HIGH Creatinine: 78 umol/L — NORMAL eGFR: 108 — NORMAL Blood count: Haemoglobin: 148 g/L — NORMAL Haematocrit: 53% — high end of normal RBC: 5.3 — NORMAL Platelets: 384 — NORMAL WCC: 8.45 — NORMAL MCV: 101 — HIGH MCHC: 27.9 — LOW Eosinophils: 0.5 — HIGH Basophils: 0.11 — HIGH Numan have booked me in with a doctor to discuss possible TRT because total testosterone and free testosterone are both low. The main thing I’m concerned about is the liver markers, especially ALT 121, AST 50.8 and GGT 111. I’m going to ask the doctor whether I need repeat bloods or GP review before starting any TRT. Has anyone else had low testosterone alongside raised liver markers while losing weight on a GLP-1?
