Love ❤️ Lane Dublin Ireland
What & Where - Location: It runs between Dame Street and Essex Street East in Dublin 2. - History & Name: The lane was called Crampton Court historically, named after Philip Crampton. Over the years, through the “Love the Lanes” initiative, it was beautified and rebranded—affectionately dubbed “Love Lane.” What You’ll See & Why It Matters - Art & Tiles: The walls are decorated with murals, pink hearts, and a special tile installation with quotes, poems, lyrics, dedications about love, heartbreak, etc. - Restoration: The art has been refreshed recently, including new ceramic tiles contributed by the public. - Vibe: It’s become a bit of an Instagram hotspot and a quiet, romantic detour in the bustle of Temple Bar. Tips If You Go - Visit during daylight: the murals will show up best in natural light. - Bring your camera or phone — it’s a pro spot for photos. - Don’t expect big shops or tourist attractions inside; its charm is in its intimacy and art touches. - Pair a visit with exploring the rest of Temple Bar—cafes, street music, culture all around. I thought this was really cool, especially with all the quote tiles.
