Me
One trip. $1600 commission. And I’m not done with the trip yet.
Yesterday I locked in two balcony cabins on a 7-night European cruise for a family of four. Commission: approximately $800 per cabin. But here’s the part I want newer agents to understand: the cruise is only the beginning of this booking. I’m still building: ✈️ International flights for 4 🇮🇹 2 hotel nights in Venice before the cruise 🇬🇷 2 hotel nights in Athens afterward 🚐 Transfers 🏛️ Excursions and experiences 🛡️ Travel protection One client. One family vacation. Multiple opportunities to earn commission while also making their trip easier because I’m putting all of the pieces together for them. And if you’re thinking, “Okay Christine, but I don’t have a family asking me to go to Greece…” You don’t need this exact client. You need to start talking about travel, watching the promotions, and giving people a reason to book. Perfect example happening RIGHT NOW: NCL is offering their $250 for $500 CruiseFirst certificates today and tomorrow. Your client pays $250 and gets $500 toward an eligible future cruise. That’s a pretty darn good reason to go back through your contacts and ask: Who has been talking about taking a cruise? Find them. Start the conversation. Help them take advantage of the promotion. And then don’t stop at booking the cruise. Build the trip. That $800 commission I’m showing you? It’s only the beginning. 💰

@Christine Berencz probably a tour operator I know Dad & Sally both used a tour operator when they did Africa and Australia/New Zealand. Sally was a school teacher who loved traveling and I think she was running out of places to travel to before she passed.

@Christine Berencz I did my Audley certification and was impressed with their tours. They also have tours in Africa. There are so many options, it’s hard to choose.

@Christine Berencz yes, I have attended a couple of them, they are now getting stricter with them so if you haven’t booked any Jamaican trips you can not attend their events. I am a certified Jamaica Specialist but still haven’t locked in a trip yet to Jamaica. 🇯🇲
