Checking in with my progress
Just checking back in with a little update. We're now in the second week after half term, and things definitely feel a little calmer. This week has been far from perfect, but it has felt much more intentional. On Monday and Tuesday, I had one of the most satisfying breakfasts I've had in a long time. Wholemeal toast with a thin layer of cream cheese, smashed avocado, poached eggs, a sprinkle of Himalayan salt, black pepper, lemon juice and a few chilli flakes. It kept me full for hours and felt like a real act of self-care rather than just grabbing something quickly. This morning was a bit more rushed, so I adapted instead of giving up. I had natural Greek yoghurt mixed with vanilla protein powder, sliced banana, a drizzle of honey and some almond flakes. It wasn't the breakfast I'd originally planned, but it still felt nourishing and balanced. I've also been enjoying warm water with a pinch of Celtic salt, fresh lemon and a little honey. I find warm water much easier on my digestion than cold water, especially first thing in the morning. Supplement-wise, I'm currently taking: • Magnesium for energy and reducing aches and pains • Vitamin D with biotin after recently discovering I was severely vitamin D deficient and completing my loading dose • Folic acid with B12 and vitamin C, as my folate levels often sit on the lower side • Today I'm also starting red clover and white sage to see if it helps with the night sweats I've been experiencing One thing I'm really learning on this journey is that consistency doesn't have to mean perfection. Sometimes it's the ideal breakfast. Sometimes it's the adapted version. Both are still a win. Also, if anyone notices the Christmas trees on my glass in the photo... all of our non-Christmas glasses seem to have been smashed over the last year, so we're currently drinking from Christmas glasses all year round! 🎄😂 I'd love to hear how everyone else is getting on. What's one small thing that's been supporting your health or energy this week?

I've just completed the 7 Day Energy Boost...
I wanted to share my experience of doing Kelli’s 7 Day Energy Boost because honestly, it’s created a much bigger mindset shift than I expected. Originally, I was actually going to do the sugar reset, but Kelly suggested that even just starting with breakfast could make a difference. Then she launched the 7 Day Energy Boost, focused on healthier breakfasts, and it felt like a really achievable place to begin. What I loved straight away was how simple and realistic it was. The recipes weren’t complicated, there wasn’t loads of expensive ingredients to buy, and there was enough variety to choose breakfasts that actually suited your tastes and lifestyle. I picked a few breakfasts I wanted to try and just committed to giving it my best shot for the week. What surprised me most was how quickly things shifted. From day one, I noticed: • less bloating in the morning • fewer sugar cravings • feeling fuller for longer • and a huge mindset shift around food overall One of the biggest things I realised is that a lot of what I thought were “cravings” were actually habits. Like buying sugary snacks automatically when I went to the shop, or always having biscuits with a cup of tea. I’ve started pausing and asking myself: “Do I actually want this right now, or is this just habit?” And interestingly, I’ve still had treats this week. We’ve had lovely weather in the UK, so I’ve had a few ice creams because I genuinely wanted them. I had date nights and meals out planned too, and normally I might have thought: “This isn’t the right week to start.” But actually, I realised there’s never going to be a “perfect” week. Even yesterday, Bank Holiday Monday, I had a more relaxed day. I had alcohol-free cider, alcohol-free gin and lemonade, biscuits, ice creams… and previously I’d have gone into that all-or-nothing mindset of: “Well that’s ruined it.” But this week has genuinely shifted that mindset too. Instead of feeling like I’d failed, today I’ve simply carried on again. That feels huge for me.
Day 7 - You did it! 🎉 (7 Day Energy Boost)
Seven days ago you made a decision to show up for yourself and you did it. That is not nothing, that is everything. Come and tell us: - What shifted for you this week - What surprised you - And how you are feeling right now compared to Day 1 Your words might be exactly what someone else needs to read today to keep going. That is the power of sharing your win out loud. So proud of you. 💛 PS. Whether you ticked off one day or all seven, it counts. We do not do perfection here, perfection is the enemy of progress. We do showing up, however that looked for you this week. Still, come and tell us where you landed. 💛 Kelli

Day 3 - How are you going? (7 Day Energy Boost)
Be honest. Are you nailing it, struggling a little, or somewhere in between? Either way you are still here and that is the whole point. Drop a comment below and tell us: - What has felt easy so far - What has felt harder than you expected - And one thing you have noticed, even something tiny The tiny things are actually the big things. A little more energy in the morning, sleeping a bit better, not reaching for something sweet at 3pm. These are the shifts that matter and they are worth saying out loud. We are listening and I am here to give you a little nudge if needed 💛 Kelli
