I've just completed the 7 Day Energy Boost...
I wanted to share my experience of doing Kelli’s 7 Day Energy Boost because honestly, it’s created a much bigger mindset shift than I expected. Originally, I was actually going to do the sugar reset, but Kelly suggested that even just starting with breakfast could make a difference. Then she launched the 7 Day Energy Boost, focused on healthier breakfasts, and it felt like a really achievable place to begin. What I loved straight away was how simple and realistic it was. The recipes weren’t complicated, there wasn’t loads of expensive ingredients to buy, and there was enough variety to choose breakfasts that actually suited your tastes and lifestyle. I picked a few breakfasts I wanted to try and just committed to giving it my best shot for the week. What surprised me most was how quickly things shifted. From day one, I noticed: • less bloating in the morning • fewer sugar cravings • feeling fuller for longer • and a huge mindset shift around food overall One of the biggest things I realised is that a lot of what I thought were “cravings” were actually habits. Like buying sugary snacks automatically when I went to the shop, or always having biscuits with a cup of tea. I’ve started pausing and asking myself: “Do I actually want this right now, or is this just habit?” And interestingly, I’ve still had treats this week. We’ve had lovely weather in the UK, so I’ve had a few ice creams because I genuinely wanted them. I had date nights and meals out planned too, and normally I might have thought: “This isn’t the right week to start.” But actually, I realised there’s never going to be a “perfect” week. Even yesterday, Bank Holiday Monday, I had a more relaxed day. I had alcohol-free cider, alcohol-free gin and lemonade, biscuits, ice creams… and previously I’d have gone into that all-or-nothing mindset of: “Well that’s ruined it.” But this week has genuinely shifted that mindset too. Instead of feeling like I’d failed, today I’ve simply carried on again. That feels huge for me.
