People Business
We’re in the people business, irregardless of what product or service we actually offer.
During a recent session one of my regular clients told me that a family member had an upcoming surgery, I could tell he was nervous about it. He came in this week and I asked him how the surgery went. He was shocked that I remembered, literally couldn’t believe it.
To me, it wasn’t a big deal, it was checking in on something important in his life.
To him, he felt seen and remembered.
He tipped me double and sent me a text message the following day letting me know how much he appreciates having me in his life.
At the end of the day people want to feel seen, heard and remembered. We’re in a unique position to be able to do that for them.
