Always thinking about sales and growth
I am so proud of a therapist that used to work for me. We are doing a chair massage event today and tomorrow at Mandalay Bay convention center. She looks around and says to me…” hey we should go around and like get these peoples cards and try and sell more chair massage for their booths next year” I couldn’t be prouder!! That’s exactly how you grow a business always be looking for the opportunities that can come from your current opportunities. Always be asking yourself: “How can I turn this client into more clients” “How can I turn this event into more events”

Michael Have you ever thought of bringing some of your massage chairs to the skincare conference in Vegas?it’s the last weekend in June you could make a lot of money doing chair massages there!
Don’t expect a tip to get the biggest tip
I accept tips but I never expect tips. The beauty of having your prices set properly is that you do not have to depend on tips. But still, if I did have to depend on tips. I would still act as if I don’t. The funny thing is every single therapist I’ve ever known that has obsessed over bad tippers or people who didn’t tip them well were always the ones who’ve gotten the worst tips. One girl I used to work with made three dollars in tips after doing seven clients That day. I think People can feel if you’re in business just for the money. And I think that’s what happens. I think that comes out in the service. They can feel that you’re not really here to give and to serve…you’re here to take. The bottom line is takers, loose and givers win. We have to go into it with a heart of service truly wanting to give a great experience no matter what I get in return. Unconditional hospitality… that means I’m gonna go the extra mile for you, i’m gonna give you the best version of myself, regardless if I get anything in return. How you show up for me will not determine how I serve you. That’s the winning attitude.

A Surprise at Atomic Golf
Yesterday my wife and went to Atomic Golf here in vegas for her work party. We Had a great time with the all you can eat and drink package!! Atomic golf is a competitor for Topgolf out here. Well, I do not think that atomic golf is better than topgolf as far as the way they’re positioned literally with the sun, beaming down in your face in the afternoon. Their machines in their virtual golf are competitive, but I think topgolf has the edge. I do think that they compete on service. And yesterday they did something that pushed them to the lead in my mind. About at the halfway point of our party, they had a photographer come by with a nice camera and asked us if we wanted to do a group photo. I had no real idea why they were doing this thought maybe it was for social media or something like that. At the end of the night, they brought a framed photograph that we got to keep at no charge. (Picture is in the post ) And said “here’s a little something for you to remember you’re time together. Thank you so much for choosing atomic golf.” I don’t imagine this cost a ton of money to do this, but in a world where everyone is trying to upsell you and nickel and dime you around every corner, this moment in their experience stands out. This is what we call a recurring moment. You have one size fits one moment or you’re doing something that is unique to the individual and you’re going to surprise and delight them. This is apart of their “last impression” that leaves a Lasting impression… someone in their organization, paid attention enough to elevate their experience with this consistent way that they can surprise and delight their customers. We can do the same thing in our business. Do you see any moments in your process that you could do something that would make you stand out? This happens you really pay attention to the client journey in all of the areas where you can elevate the experience

The human Element Matters
The more our world moves to AI and machines and robots the more important service and hospitality become. The more important providing a great experience becomes. The more important a great attitude becomes.
