FREE MASSAGE GIVEAWAY
When I had therapists working for me this was one of my favorite strategies to implement. It always went over really well and grew our business. This and Black Friday were always very successful for us in getting a good boost in business and clients. I like this tactic even more though because it leads to promotion, check ins, reviews and hopefully referrals. Are you going to implement this? Doesn't matter if it's a few days into the month before you start.
FREE MASSAGE GIVEAWAY
I’m having a booth at a Mindfulness Expo in May and planning to raffle off a free hour massage in exchange for contact information
I might buy a new business
I am looking into buying a new business. Here’s why I am thinking about, and working on for that business.

The economy sucks?
Are you experiencing a slow down in your business? I’ve been seeing a lot of posts about this online.
I experienced a little bit of a slower week due to Spring Break. My favorite mantra in times like this is “I create my own economy”.
Communication
Do you allow open communication with your clients? A friend of mine went to an inexpensive massage place two weeks ago. During the session the pressure got so deep it took her breath away, to the point that she couldn’t speak to ask for less pressure. After she caught her breath she felt uncomfortable saying anything. Two days later she was still in terrible pain and ended up at the chiropractor. This is the second story I’ve heard like this in the past month. Clients uncomfortable but too nervous to say something. Checking in during the session is helpful but framing communication and pressure expectations up front is key in my opinion.

@Michael Ortiz no, it’s someone I know socially
People Business
We’re in the people business, irregardless of what product or service we actually offer. During a recent session one of my regular clients told me that a family member had an upcoming surgery, I could tell he was nervous about it. He came in this week and I asked him how the surgery went. He was shocked that I remembered, literally couldn’t believe it. To me, it wasn’t a big deal, it was checking in on something important in his life. To him, he felt seen and remembered. He tipped me double and sent me a text message the following day letting me know how much he appreciates having me in his life. At the end of the day people want to feel seen, heard and remembered. We’re in a unique position to be able to do that for them.
