I accept tips but I never expect tips.
The beauty of having your prices set properly is that you do not have to depend on tips.
But still, if I did have to depend on tips. I would still act as if I don’t.
The funny thing is every single therapist I’ve ever known that has obsessed over bad tippers or people who didn’t tip them well were always the ones who’ve gotten the worst tips.
One girl I used to work with made three dollars in tips after doing seven clients That day.
I think People can feel if you’re in business just for the money.
And I think that’s what happens. I think that comes out in the service. They can feel that you’re not really here to give and to serve…you’re here to take.
The bottom line is takers, loose and givers win.
We have to go into it with a heart of service truly wanting to give a great experience no matter what I get in return.
Unconditional hospitality… that means I’m gonna go the extra mile for you, i’m gonna give you the best version of myself, regardless if I get anything in return. How you show up for me will not determine how I serve you.
That’s the winning attitude.
