I finally started writing
I met with Dani for a one on one back in March. I signed a contract to have my manuscript ready by next March. I was excited to and then life happened. Fast forward to last week. I woke up from a dream with an idea. I ruminated over it for a while. And then I drafted an outline. Then a prologue. I'm now on Chapter 3! Where did this come from?
I'm writing fiction. I guess it would be considered a mystery. I've done a bit of background work with my outline, notes, research, etc. Once I started the actual writing, I was excited to see words on the page. And now I realize that I have actually only written 6 pages of material. Should I worry about length at this point? Or do I just keep getting words on the page for now? Maybe I am not adding enough detail?
