Subject:
"By cultivating attitudes of friendliness toward the happy, compassion for the unhappy, delight in the virtuous, and disregard for the wicked, the mind-stuff retains its undisturbed calmness." - Sutra 1:33
I chose his as my subject because it was helpful in a reflection I had earlier today on how I can practice non-violence by not judging others. When I read Sutra 1:33 I liked the use of the four keys to the four locks to remaining at peace. It was an answer to a question I had on how I can be the best version of myself when I become aware of attitudes and reactions I have had towards others. 🤔
