Dark or light…?
Oooooooh.
Wallpaper off in the staircase and we’ve revealed the original paintwork - which is a dark green with a painted border and dark lower half.
The original concept colour scheme for the hallway was going to be dark panelling with a lighter brown/grey upper wall (matching the colours we recently did in the HMO room picture attached…)
But now I’ve seen the dark green - I’m thinking about taking it honouring the original scheme and going down the darker route with this sumptuous blue scheme and dark panelling (picture taking from farrow and ball inspiration).
There’s going to be a lot of white above the picture rail, with white skirts and architraves so think it’ll pop nicely.
Which way would you take it?
