Today’s Academy coaching session was a big one. We went deep on something that sounds simple, but quietly determines whether most people ever succeed in property: Systems. Protected time. Pipeline. Because the reality is, motivation is unreliable. Most people launch into something full of energy… then hit what Seth Godin calls The Dip. No immediate results. No deals landing. No dopamine hit. That little voice starts whispering: “Maybe this doesn’t work.” “Maybe I’m not cut out for this.” “Maybe I picked the wrong strategy.” But this is the bit nobody talks about. The people who ultimately win are not usually the most talented. They are the people who keep showing up when it feels boring, slow, frustrating and like nothing is happening. That is where protected time and pipelining systems matter. Because systems carry you when motivation disappears. And your compelling vision, the thing you actually want your life to look like, is what gets you through the dip.
