Back pain after surgery?
Hello guys I have developed some back pain after my surgery, I started like three days from the surgery and decrease after some days when my core started to feel better how ever in a recent trip, pain in the groin was very small and I walked and stand a lot almost the whole day at second day back pain returns and increases every day until I stopped walked and standing that much Know two days after my trip the back pain is better but I need to alternate positions (walking , seated) to avoid pain, being totally standing could. Increase the pain I’m going to see an specialist for the back pain, my hernia surgeon says is probably a muscular contraction and must go with some local heat but I’m not to sure about it Has anyone experience something similar ?
Hernia surgery
Hello! New to the group. Just had an inguinal hernia repaired at Shouldice March 14 and was released to fly back to the USA on March 17. I’m on day 26 today, and still doing the exercises and doing well I think. Tightness sometimes on and off, still quite a bit of numbness, and some quick “twinges” for the first time three or four times today. I’m a Spirit filled preacher, and was back in the pulpit 2 weeks and two days after surgery, but ended up in a little pain after preaching. Then a week later preached twice, and was ok, but a little swolen and sore that night and the next day - that was last Sunday. Preached again last night, which was Tuesday, two days later; and I was pretty well ok. Supposed to be flying out of state for a 4 day Revival this weekend and praying and believing that all will be well! I’ll add this also; in October on 2023 I was 240 pounds and today I’m 165 pounds - never been to the gym or took anything, just started eating clean and did body weight excises at home. Lost body fat and gained muscle. My abs were just starting to be really visible, and then I had the surgery. Looking forward to getting back to that routine, it’s called V-shred RI90 by Vince Saint, but it’s quite strenuous and I want to be wise - I’ll be glad to never hear the word surgery the rest of my days. 😆
DESARDA HERNIA REPAIR METHOD
Greetings guys are u aware of the Desarda hernia repair method from India??
Hello (and post-op pain?)
Hello to the group. I recently had an inguinal hernia fixed at Shouldice. Today is post-op day 13. As others have probably experienced, the incision site/area is somewhat numb for a while after surgery... my numbness has just started to go away (around post-op day 11). Is it possible that as sensations return, some pain will also re-appear? I've been doing really good recovering - incision looks good and is not painful, but I'm having some other 'internal' pains. I'm guessing this is where the hernia was actually fixed internally(?). I've had a few rather sharp pains while stretching in bed, in an area that is like 2" below the bottom of my incision and right in the crease of my groin... I wouldn't have thought the surgeon would be working that far from the incision, so all I can guess is that it's some kind of residual nerve pain. There is no bruising that far down and there is no swelling - but when the pain stabs me there it throbs for a while. Anyone else experienced this? I'm not sure whether to "wait for it to go away" or to contact Shouldice. I really just want to ask them if this is normal... there is nothing to 'see' at an in-person appointment - like I said, the incision site looks fine. (anyone know if they do phone appointments?)
Hi, everyone. I hope everyone during great
Sorry guys I couldn't upload my pictures but I'm new to the community. Couple of days ago I went to get a lump check and the doctor told me it was direct hernia and that I need surgery. 🤧 I had a panic attack just think about the surgery.
