Voice pilot class 2
So many things came up for me in this class... First the hugging self and gently singing was so comforting. I use to sing to myself often at a different point in my life. I find myself making sounds while doing another task, cleaning, making art, gardening.
I really enjoyed the facial massage and felt it the next day. I hold a lot of tension in my face.
Holding a sound, the vowels, and making different sounds moving your face around. (So much information in this class to list!)
Biggest takeaway would be to not judge yourself and take your mind away from "perfection" and just play. I had taken vocal lessons in the past and there is so many things to remember.
The hardest thing for me currently is getting the sound to not break up, but maybe I'm lacking breath support. Is there exercises for better breathing and holding a longer note?
