The Healing Voice Course Review
This Healing Voice Course is beyond anything I could have expected right from the first class. We learn basic things about warming up, stretching, specific self massages that are so ignored yet immensely profound and make a huge difference when we begin using the voice. Taught by Kalee, who is not only a sound healer with decades of experience and practice, but also a University trained singer and also gifted with highly refined intuition. This gives triple threat a new meaning. I have seen many courses and just kept passing them by but when I discovered Kalee and this sound healing community I know i found a diamond and jumped right in. This course opens many doors to something deep and infinite. Thank you Kalee for offering your rare gifts and wisdom.

Why a person should sing
I just found this new YouTube channel and Kimberly just shared one of the videos I found yesterday. It’s so interesting how I was just talking about this Saturday in the first class and all of a sudden this video channel comes into my feed and explains in physics why we should sing and hum!

This was a very informative 2 by 4 to me because ever since I was young even from the age of 12 I did not prefer to sing in the choir and when the choir teacher let me be the accompanist I was so loving to just play piano. I made my piano sing. Truthfully I have always had an aversion about singing and now after years of not sounding it out, the emotions are all trapped with mucous etc. So lesson learned and I will need to start little by little to open my voice and body. Thank you for this video.

@Kalee Coombs I appreciate more than words can say how I am so grateful that I had found you and all you embody and teach. I love this path so much, even though it is a slow start, I am OK with that.
Week 2 Healing Voice Pilot Reflections ☀️
I loved that this class included the question, have you become a creator or consumer? Is that not the greatest question to ask ourselves right now! 🩵 So many good things come when we use our creative energy and consuming can be good to learn a new skill or develop yourself but I liked that Kalee mentioned listening to what you are consuming and what the body says. Years ago I noticed that the music I was listening to was chaotic and whenever I would watch a movie, I could feel the difference in how good I felt before versus how I felt after. And that really helped me create better habits. Does anyone else find that popular music and movies just don’t interest you anymore? 🩷 also love that Kalee brought up our food, so important to feeling good!! I loved learning that massage helps with articulation, that’s something I have wanted to work on with my voice, speaking in a way where I want to be heard instead of rushing through my words. 🌸 My favorite thing Kalee mentioned was that listening more leads to being a good sound healer. The mind always wants to do, do, do. And I love that sound healing is more about pausing and listening than rushing and doing more. 🌷 Learning that creating sound opens you up to receiving information was fascinating! ✨ I did the meditation with the blue light at the throat chakra and chanting HAM and I really enjoyed it. I will be doing that regularly. 💙 I noticed myself humming more this week and it feels really good to use my voice. I do not always talk much throughout my day but I am a hummer and singer and it was great to focus on that more throughout the week. I noticed that my body felt happier when I would hum or sing as opposed to going about my day quietly with the thoughts in my head or listening to something. I think the humming got me more out of my head and into my body and present moment. Overall I feel more open, grounded, and I loved focusing on making sound this week. 🌺 This course is such a gem and I really needed it, thank you for another great class Kalee. 💎

I have had an aversion to "pop" music since the 90's and I still really react badly to commercials and their jingles. Yes this course is an absolute gem.

Voice Healing Pilot Class 3 Take Away
The opening meditation was very powerful for me and I did not want it to end. You soon began discussing the new direction of creating 2 separate courses which I did not grasp at first, but later on after the Sit and Sound you spend time on the triads and scales and I totally see what you meant and agree. I am sure that others will benefit greatly from learning in the course about the triads and scales. For me personally I would not be interested in that aspect being a professional pianist I am very familiar with this. In fact I am turning to this vocal sound healing to actually get away from tonal harmonies somewhat and venture into gutteral raw sounds internally. What might benefit me would be to spend more time with the Sit and Sound with initiations and examples going into our various organs as a group, and then having participants share what they experienced if they wish. Hearing the experience of others would be very eye opening for me. I love how this is all wonderfully evolving. Thank you

Your insight into your ankle and the way you expressed it "felt like it was coming from that area" was exactly what I needed to hear when I mentioned hearing from other's experience. I suspected that was what was supposed to happen but have not yet experienced it myself so your experience just clarified that was what I was aiming for.. That is great that you had such a powerful practice and thank you soooo much for sharing that.
