Naming My Goals
Hello again - This is a follow-up introduction, especially for folks starting the Sync Vault Accelerator tomorrow. My name is Dawn. I’m a producer and artist based in Knoxville, TN, and I tried to get started in sync on my own a little over a year ago, but got discouraged and put it on pause. Now I’m back at it. I think some things that may have been counterproductive for me in getting started in sync were doing research and experimenting with pitching in isolation, without accountability or professional feedback. I know I haven’t dialed in my understanding of which types of music are ‘syncable,’ or how to pitch efficiently, and I have room to expand and update my production and mixing approaches. That’s a big part of why I’m here and want to work with Glenn. So, I’m excited to join the Accelerator group, and as Glenn requested, I'm embracing accountability by naming my biggest goal for the next month: In the next 30 days, I want to finish 3 pieces of music I feel confident pitching, identify the best outlets to pitch those tracks, and get them pitched! Eek! Wish me luck!
Introduction
Hello everyone my name is Kaleb i am an aspiring music producer from Denver Colorado currently living in Elizabethtown Kentucky. I have been on my music journey for about 10 years but my love for music goes back way further than this. I am very glad to be apart of this group and hope to help and grow with you guys to become the best version of ourselves. Edit: I forgot to mention I make a lot of different varieties of music stemming from your traditional hip hop and rnb, to rock music and pop. As of recent I’ve been focusing solely on film scoring and video game style music. This switch has brought the joy back when making music and made music fun again which is a huge part of my creative process. If I can’t have fun I will burn out pretty quickly lol.
