Feedback for Folk? Americana? Ish?
Hey everyone! Hoping to receive some feedback for a track I produced for my husband's band! This is my first time working on a song that isn't written by me since learning so much in the Sync Accelerator Program, so I'd like to see what other things I may be able to improve on working in other genres!
Some notes:
-It's a three piece band: two guitars (sometimes a banjo, but for this song it's two guitars) an upright bass, and male vocals
-Not mixed yet because I'd like to see what suggestions you have before starting the mixing process.
-I just noticed some background noise at the very end of the track. It's not intentional and will be removed haha.
-References/inspirations of the band are Poor Man's Poison and Amigo the Devil. I included some Youtube videos below in case ya'll want to listen!
Questions:
-What genre would you consider this? The band is having a hard time categorizing themselves because they are unsure what people would consider this.
