Latin style beat
Whatโ€™s going on everyone, itโ€™s been a while since I posted anything and I wanted to share something interesting with you all. This is a lot different than what I was previously making. However I love it, I had a conversation a while back that helped me change my view on sync. What I came to realize is I didnโ€™t necessarily need to change who I am and what I create. So today Iโ€™m presenting a Latin style beat that I produced. If you all would be so kind to leave me some honest feedback. My biggest question for you all is do you believe it is sync ready? Why or why not? I made this a little different than a traditional beat it doesnโ€™t have a normal song structure on purpose. I still plan to work on some cinematic projects but for now I want to focus on what I can get done now. So I can build my catalog. Hope you enjoy. Key questions: does it fit the style of music I was trying to convey. Still a little new to this genre and I feel like it may be missing a few elements. Based on your experience is this ready to pitch to a sync libary? How are the dynamics, does it need more โ€œspaceโ€ or spots with no noise? One of my biggest concerns with this is the flute melody is there anyway I could improve it, or does it fit? I was trying my best not to over complicate it. Finally, how does the mix sound? I have done some basic eq and very little effects it sounded good to me. However I would love to hear your thoughts on it. https://s.disco.ac/lyyeoxtjqmiw

LOVE this one, Kaleb! I'm not familiar with this style myself so I can't speak on that part, but it definitely has me wanting to dance so I'd say it's doing it's job! I think the flute melody is perfect. Not too complicated, but still gets stuck in your head, and I love how you had that melody going throughout the song in different instruments and variations. I think it really helps drive the song without being repetitive. Can't wait to hear more!

Another Logic user here! I tried a few DAWs in school and this is the one that just clicked best for me! Also here for everyone's favorite plugins because I'm starting to go down the plugin rabbithole now that I'm in the studio more. ๐Ÿ˜… So far I'm loving Vahalla's Supermassive for big vocal stacks and it's totally free so that's a plus! Looking for a synth like Serum or Omnisphere next so would love to hear. ya'lls thoughts!
Could use some feedback on a track I am about to release
https://s.disco.ac/nazaauhikqzu If you get a chance, I'd love for you to listen to one of my latest tracks. This one I am actually singing on myself. (Which I do not do that often) It has taken a bit of time to get it to this place, and I'd just love to get some feedback about it. Thank you all in advance. Have a splendid day.

This sounds amazing, Adam!! I know all too well that feeling of being nervous of your own voice haha I agree it feels like you're exposing a part of yourself because you have a voice that nobody else has. But I love this! The male and the female vocals both sound great, and they blend really well together. I would even like to hear the vocals brought up a little more in the build up to the chorus and the chorus itself. You already have such a great build up there, I think the vocals would really drive that energy home! Also, I love the song itself! It's so catchy and I think it totally competes with modern day popular songs in the same genre!
Yay! Another Forward!
Sync Vault Peeps.... I just got another forward at Taxi for a Sport Percussion piece! I can honestly tell you it would never have been accepted if Glenn hadn't pushed me to mix better and rethink my development arc. Thanks to his pushing and tutoring, it's been sent for consideration 'somewhere'. I am thrilled and very thankful for the blood sweat and tears Glenn is putting into this accelerator. ๐Ÿคฉ

Yesss!! Another one! Congrats, Tim!!
Which songs should be the first on this playlist?
Hey friends! I'm following in @Dawn Dineen 's footsteps here and creating a poll to gather some opinions. I'm getting ready to pitch a playlist of about 8 songs in the Dark Americana/Folk genre and am trying to figure out how to order the songs in this playlist. Could you all listen to some of these tracks like a music supervisor would and see if any of these songs jump out to you? Thanks for your help! https://s.disco.ac/jochcrpfimvq

@Glenn Macrae Thank you SO much for all of this, Glenn! This is all very helpful for me and making next steps. I'm so glad I posted this, because Ghost was actually one of the songs that I originally left off this playlist because I wasn't feeling confident in the production (notice how it's at the bottom of this playlist ๐Ÿ˜…) Just goes to show how much blindness we can have when it comes to our own music sometimes!
