The 12 Universal Laws
I have a strong interest in understanding the 12 Universal Laws. I have an intuitive inner understanding of almost each of them, but I also want to understand how the hierarchy of these laws works in practice, specifically, which laws can influence or even “override” others.
Does anyone have good practices, insights, or reliable resources related to this topic?
Thanks in advance!
Here is a short description of these laws:
1. Law of Divine Oneness
The foundational law stating that everything in the universe is interconnected. Every thought, action, and event is linked to everything else.
2. Law of Vibration
Posits that everything in the universe—including thoughts and physical matter—is in constant motion and vibrates at a specific frequency. To manifest a desire, one must match their internal vibration to it.
3. Law of Correspondence
Summarized by the phrase "as above, so below," this law suggests that patterns repeat throughout the universe across different scales and planes of existence.
4. Law of Attraction
Perhaps the most famous law, it asserts that "like attracts like". People bring into their lives whatever they focus on with their thoughts and energy.
5. Law of Inspired Action
This law emphasizes that manifesting one's goals requires more than just visualization; it requires taking physical, actionable steps driven by internal "nudges" or intuition.
6. Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy
States that all energy is constantly moving and changing forms. Higher vibrations can transmute lower vibrations, meaning a positive mindset can eventually shift negative circumstances.
7. Law of Cause and Effect
Also known as the Law of Karma, it states that every action has a corresponding reaction. Every cause has an effect, and every effect has a cause.
8. Law of Compensation
Often seen as an extension of Cause and Effect, this law relates to the rewards and consequences we receive for our actions. It suggests you will be compensated for what you put out into the world.
9. Law of Relativity
Teaches that every life situation is neutral and only gains meaning through the perspective we apply to it. It suggests we only understand our challenges by comparing them to others' or our own past experiences.
10. Law of Polarity
States that everything has an opposite (hot/cold, light/dark, good/evil) and that these opposites are merely two ends of the same scale.
11. Law of Rhythm
Refers to the cyclical nature of the universe. Just as seasons change, everything in life moves in cycles, such as growth and decay or highs and lows.
12. Law of Gender
Posits that everything has both masculine (active/assertive) and feminine (receptive/nurturing) energies. Balance between these two forces is necessary for creation and manifestation.
