Hey Vicente, That sounds really unpleasant. First of all, I want to say that I'm not a psychologist—I'm just someone who grew up with a pretty intense thought carousel myself. 😄 I also have no idea how intense these thoughts are for you or how much control you currently have over them. I can only share a few techniques that I personally keep practicing. - I try to redirect my thoughts toward the spiritual as early as possible. As soon as I notice a thought arising, I look at what it's trying to tell me. On the spiritual path, what other people think about me is ultimately irrelevant, so I don't want to give those thoughts my attention. Whether they're true or not doesn't really matter. - You could try talking to the people involved and simply ask them whether they actually thought or said what you're hearing. It might help you get a better feeling for what is real and what is being imposed on your mind. - I use the Lotus Flower meditation, where I try to feel my soul in the area of the solar plexus. As a side effect, focusing on that area helps calm my mind and makes it much easier not to get carried away by intrusive thoughts. - in general, I try to observe and guide my thoughts every single moment. I no longer let thoughts quietly slip in and take over my awareness for long periods without noticing. I've learned how these loops work, how they flood the mind and create confusion, so I do my best to catch them as early as possible. 😄😄 I wish you all the best, and if you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
