I've owned and/or operated my own restaurant both mobile and brick-and-mortar, I make all the products for my healing company including jewelry, reishi butter soap, mushroom kits and more, I publish, compose and master my own music, and I am the author of Healing Hz: Tools for the 144,000. Hi there, I’m Robin and I’m the founder of The Mushroom Emporium. I run a small mushroom farm in the uk with big plans. I currently create a kit called The Fungi FarmBox which primarily sells online and at Artisan/Farmers/Food markets. I also make up commercial blocks for growers and producers. I’m currently a one-man-band but hopefully soon will be able to have a small team. I’ve been working full time for the last 5 years, learning everything as I go, mainly from YouTube videos and trial and error. My main skill is making up the spawn and blocks, having recently stopped growing for chefs and wholesalers to concentrate primarily on this due to restrictions in time. I would like to grow mushrooms as a small business. My name is Jeff Osier, I live in Omer, MI. Lower peninsula, The sun rise side, about 5 miles from the Saginaw Bay.

I grew up on a small farm in Ohio. In highschool my grandfather grew shiitakes on logs didn't think much of it then, other then the excitement when they started pinning. I learned how to grow from @Michael Crowe YouTube growing classes. From self sterilization to cloning I went all in. Mushrooms have found a special place in my regenerative agricultural philosophy being at the end and beginning of the cycle. Growing from waste and helping close the farms grow cycle. I have grown multiple species and have found my preferred species I now stick with and am working to master. My set up may be crude but functional and lean with 10%-15% contamination rate in sub optimal environment. We now will have more room on the farm me and my wife bought this year and can't wait to implement what I've trained for on a larger scale.

Thought I’d introduce myself. After getting some blocks going a few years ago thanks to the Legend, Mr. Crowe, I’m hoping to up the scales soon and start a little side business. I discovered Lions Mane years ago after my dad was pretty far along with Frontotemporal Dementia, (before Bruce Willis made it cool). With years spent helping my dad in his pepper garden and then years spent in the cannabis industry, I was excited to start cultivating some gourmet fungi. A few years after my dad passed my brother was also diagnosed with FTD…it was at this time we learned there was a genetic mutation in the family.. I sent in my DNA and found I also carry this gene mutation and I’m nearing the same age (in a few months) that both of them were when they started showing symptoms… around 37yo. Anyhow, I’m feeling pressed for time and have been dying to get this going… On that note, Thank you, @Michael Crowe for getting this community started and being so generous with your knowledge and sharing your trials and tribulations.
