Kindness Is a Mirror
Thank you Karen for this powerful reflection. 💛
One of the most beautiful insights from today’s loving-kindness practice was this reminder: sometimes when someone hurts us, they’re simply sharing the hurt they’re carrying themselves.
When we pause and meet that moment with awareness instead of reaction, something shifts.
Kindness becomes a mirror.
Whether it’s someone close to us or a brief interaction with a stranger at the grocery store, the energy we bring into the moment has the ability to change it.
And more often than not, when kindness is offered with genuine intention, it finds its way back to us.
A powerful reminder that compassion is not just something we practice in meditation, it’s something we carry into the world. 💛
The next time someone feels difficult or reactive, try this small shift:
Pause. Breathe. Offer kindness anyway.
What happens when you become the mirror for calm instead of reacting to the tension? 💛
