“MY” Anxiety, Stress…
It’s interesting how powerful the word “my” really is.
We say things like my anxiety, my ADHD, my stress, my problems… without realizing that every time we do, we’re subtly claiming ownership of the experience. We’re tying it to our identity instead of recognizing it as something we’re simply moving through.
There’s a quiet but important difference between saying
“I have been experiencing anxiety”
and
“my anxiety.”
One makes it temporary. The other makes it personal.
Your mind is always listening to how you define yourself. It takes your words as instructions. Not in a mystical way, but in a conditioning way. What you repeatedly identify with, you reinforce.
This doesn’t mean ignoring challenges or pretending they don’t exist. It means allowing yourself to experience them without turning them into permanent labels.
You are not your fear.
You are not your stress.
You are not your past.
You are not even your current struggle.
You are the awareness observing all of it.
And awareness is not stuck. Awareness can shift.
Sometimes manifestation doesn’t begin with adding something new. Sometimes it begins with gently releasing what was never truly yours to carry in the first place.
