A friend sent this to me and I thought that I would share this with you. I asked AI to add thought provoking questions along with some exercises plus a 7 day healing practice for you.
All of us need healing at times, and when we need healing, remember that it is time to repair, renew, and replenish yourself and your vulnerable heart. Self-care and maintenance work are needed so that your vitality can arise. Give yourself the space to nourish your own well-being.
Vulnerability is necessary for friendships and partnerships to work, which means all of us will have tender emotions at times. Be gentle with yourself and others now. Shed the past and step into a new way of being, for vitality is rising in you.
This might be a good time to honor the work you have done to heal, grow, and repair any damage within you, within those you care about, and within your community. Celebrate together how far all of you have come in your healing journey, and all that you have created! Unburden yourself of anything that no longer supports wellness, prosperity, positive relationships, and well-being, and open the door for healing to occur.
Reflective Questions
Where in my life am I still carrying pain or burdens that are ready to be released?
What practices or rituals help me feel renewed, grounded, and alive again?
How has vulnerability strengthened my connections with others rather than weakened them?
If I were to fully forgive myself or someone else, what new freedom could take root in my heart?
What does “vitality” look and feel like for me at this stage of my life, and how can I cultivate it daily?
How has my personal healing rippled outward to positively affect others?
Transformational Exercises
1. Releasing Ritual
Take a piece of paper and write down everything you are ready to let go of—old habits, negative thoughts, relationships that drain you, fear, guilt, resentment. Fold the paper, hold it to your heart, and say: “I release what no longer serves me. I call in healing, vitality, and peace.” Then either burn it safely, bury it in the earth, or tear it into small pieces and let it go.
2. The Healing Timeline
Draw a line across a page. Mark down key moments of your healing journey so far—times you overcame pain, rebuilt trust, practiced self-compassion, or leaned on others for support. Under each moment, write the strength or lesson you gained. Step back and celebrate the growth that has unfolded.
3. Self-Nurture Inventory
Make three lists:
Things that drain my energy.
Things that renew my energy.
Things I’ve never tried but feel could nurture me.
Commit to removing one draining element and adding one new nurturing action this week.
4. Community Healing Circle (if done with others)
Sit in a circle, or even gather with a few friends or family. Each person shares something they’ve healed from, something they are still working on, and something they are grateful for in the process. Close by affirming one another’s resilience and victories.
5. Mirror of Vitality
Stand in front of a mirror. Place your hand on your heart and say out loud: “I honor the healing I have done. I welcome new growth. I am open to vitality.” Repeat slowly as you make eye contact with your own reflection. Notice the warmth and truth that rises within.
7-Day Healing Practice: Renew, Release, and Rise
Each day, set aside 20–30 minutes for the practice. Begin with a few deep breaths and the intention to honor where you are on your healing journey.
Day 1: Honoring Your Healing Journey
Reflection:Recall important moments on your healing path—the turning points, setbacks, and victories.Question:What strength did I discover in myself that I never knew was there?Exercise:Create your “Healing Timeline” by marking each key milestone and writing the lesson or strength gained beside it. Journal briefly about your proudest moment of growth.
Day 2: Releasing the Old
Reflection:Identify burdens, limiting beliefs, or patterns that hold you back.Question:What am I ready to forgive or release—about myself, someone else, or my past?Exercise:Write down everything you wish to release. Perform the “Releasing Ritual”—read your list aloud, declare your freedom, then safely destroy the paper (burn, tear, or bury).
Day 3: Welcoming Renewal
Reflection:Notice ways you already replenish your spirit—moments, habits, or environments that restore your energy.Question:What truly nourishes me physically, emotionally, or spiritually?Exercise:Make your “Self-Nurture Inventory.” Add one new nurturing action from your list to your day. Savor the experience, noticing any positive shifts in energy.
Day 4: Embracing Vulnerability
Reflection:Think about times you allowed yourself to be open, imperfect, or honest with someone.Question:How has being vulnerable created deeper connection in my life?Exercise:Reach out to someone you trust. Share something meaningful or ask for a bit of support. Observe how it feels to be held in kindness and connection.
Day 5: Mirror of Vitality
Reflection:Explore your beliefs about what it means to live with vitality and radiance.Question:What does living with vitality look and feel like for me at this stage?Exercise:Stand before a mirror, make eye contact with yourself, and place your hand on your heart. Repeat aloud: “I honor the healing I have done. I welcome new growth. I am open to vitality.”Journal about the experience and any felt shifts in your energy.
Day 6: Community Celebration
Reflection:Healing multiplies when shared.Question:How has my personal healing rippled out to help others?Exercise:Gather a circle (in person, by phone, or online). Each person shares (1) a healing victory, (2) something still being worked on, and (3) something they’re grateful for in the process. Affirm one another’s courage and renewal.
Day 7: Setting Intentions for the Next Chapter
Reflection:Look ahead to the person you wish to become.Question:What will I carry forward from this week? What will I leave behind?Exercise:Light a candle or sit in stillness. Visualize yourself stepping into a new chapter with clarity, vitality, and a lighter heart. Write out 2–3 intentions or commitments for the next month that will nourish your well-being. Display them somewhere meaningful.
Closing Thought:Healing is lifelong and community-fed. Return to any practice as needed. Celebrate all progress, no matter how small. In your renewal, you inspire vitality in others.
