Huge Mistake! I uploaded to Ingram First
Hi Friends, What are your thoughts on this? My print book was uploaded to Ingram Spark before pre-sale and launch a few months ago. I didn’t know that they would also distribute it on Amazon. I learned today that Ingram doesn’t allow you to opt out from making it available there. I didn’t want to upload to Amazon until I was ready to release the book. Now that I’m ready to release the book, I cannot program a presale on Amazon because it’s already there and I have no control over the pricing. What do you recommend I do? Should I cancel my account with Ingram and upload everything again on both platforms at the same time? Thank you 🙏🏽
Audiobook Distribution
My audiobook is done. Now I need distribution. I’m going directly with ACX non-exclusive for Audible. Who do you recommend for wide distribution? I used Lantern Audio once. Nice white glove treatment but lower royalties, up-front investment, and less control. So I’m debating between Findaway and Author’s Republic - leaning toward the latter. Any strong opinions? Thanks!
Sell Sheet Feedback?
I've heard that one needs a "sell sheet" for local bookstores... And, wouldn't you know, IBPA has a resource on creating sell sheets! For those of you with successful sell sheets (like, you've used them to get into stores, book buyers like them, etc), I'd love your feedback! What do you like/dislike? What's missing? What could be better? Is this what book buyers at indie stores are looking for? THANK YOU! 🙏 (PDF attached but also an image here that you can quickly look at in Skool...)

About turning your book into an Audiobook
Hi everyone, Who has turned their book into an audiobook and what platform have you used to create it and what platform to distribute it? I'm in Spain so I can't use ACX. My idea was to use Findaway Voices but I'm watching the video from @Julie Broad about Findaway Voices splitting into two and now my brain exploded. I'd love to hear from you so I can get my blood back. Thank you!
What is the best minimal combo (in addition to KDP)?
I have 11 titles self published on Amazon. What is the best combo of additional publishing platforms, like Ingram Spark, Draft to Digital, Street Lib, Goodreads, Barnes and Noble, Apple, Google and others? Now I am seeing Spotify entering the fray. I have a few of my KDP books on Barnes and Noble and a few on Ingram Spark and Draft to Digital. I am looking to publish on the least amount of platforms with maximum coverage and distribution. Is there a best combo in addition to KDP? I would like to get more into libraries and bookstores.
