Influencer Marketing - Is it worth paying for?
There was a great post from an author that spent $44,000 on a book launch and what worked and didn't work, and she shared that influencer marketing was maybe not the best investment. That story combined with an audit of our Amazon Ads performance over the last five years inspired me to share this video. Have you paid an influencer for book promotion? How'd it go?

I saw this the day it hit youtube. Another excellent video stressing the principle that there is no marketing magic pill. One needs to do all of the strategies in parallel. These activities compound. I am so grateful for having found Julie and the book launchers crew.

Cover artwork for Movie Structure
Having learned that artwork takes a long time, I am getting a jump on this. Any thoughts?

A little more explanation (from the early back text), Aristotle was the first to pontificate on 3-act story structure. After 2,300 years, do you believe we have discovered nothing new about screenwriting? If you talk with folks in Hollywood about anything but 3-act structure, you are treated as clueless. The conversation terminates. For a typical 120 page movie script, act-2 is twice as long as act-1 and act-3 with a "change of momentum" dead center. So, shoudn't we call this 4-act structure? In 58 pages, you will learn two paradigms that answer many of the inevitable questions when someone tells you your act-2 (60 pages) needs work.

I’m excited to be here and finally introduce myself to the community. I’m an author, and I’ve joined this group because I’m looking forward to connecting with other writers, learning from your experiences, and sharing a few lessons from my own journey along the way. One thing I’m especially interested in is the part of being an author that happens after the writing, publishing, reaching the right readers, building visibility, and turning a book into something that can genuinely make an impact. I’ve been reading through some of the posts here already, and it’s great to see authors at different stages sharing questions, ideas, challenges, and solutions. That kind of community is exactly what I was hoping to find. I’m looking forward to getting to know you all. What’s one lesson you’ve learned on your author journey that you wish you had known when you first started?

Hello. Could take any advice.
New writer and have a podcast/book launch at, Lowcountry Boil Podcast, in less than 3 weeks. I feel like i wrote extremely quickly and it's all moving fast. I got several thousand views on my first week of marketing and freaking out. I am so glad to have found this community. Any advice?

Excellent advice. If you want a bit of feedback before going live, video a friend interviewing you (with both of you sitting facing each other on the camera frame). Then you'll know what you might want to change or at least be aware of. If you've written a book, I have confidence that you (K J) will be awesome.
