Cover help
It's me again! What about this title and cover? Any suggestions?

The image is powerful. With the title, Blank Stare, it lends itself to a stark, unadorned font, like Nunito Sans, but all-caps. You can get the font from fonts.google.com. Also, adjust the contrast so the black of the photo blends seamlessly into the black background.

@Mary Catherine Liscinski Digital Cocaine seems judgemental. Blank Stare is accurately descriptive.
Title Help
How big of a deal is it to pick a title that is already used by a few other books? These other books are not wildly popular. I am writing a book about digital addiction and how to help your child. The title I might use is Left to Their Own Devices: Six evidence-based approaches to help your screen-addicted child. The other books have different subtitles from mine. If that is a really bad idea, what about this title Screen Time Rescue: Understanding Your Child's Digital Addiction and How to Help Their Brain.

"Left to their own devices" is a common expression, and therefore can't be copyrighted. The subtitle will help differentiate your book from the others.

@Mary Catherine Liscinski If they're not performing well, the authors probably don't know how to market their books. It's a good title. Do it justice with a great marketing campaign.
What would make YOU pick up a biography about an ordinary person?
Do you buy books by perusing the actual/digital bookshelves or do you go there knowing exactly what title you want to buy?

Risk of legal action for publishing.
Hello. I'm planning to publish a self-help book about mental health and psychology. I'm wondering if there's any risk of legal action? I added a disclaimer at the beginning, and the book doesn't contain any guaranteed or promised cures, but I think there's still a risk because many pages discuss the mechanisms of trauma, anxiety, and other emotional issues. Thank you for your advice!

There is always a risk of legal action, no matter what you write. Keep an attorney in your pocket, and if you can afford it have her read the book for any red flags.
Cover feedback
I've gone through a few revisions of my cover, and this one is my favorite so far. Any feedback would be appreciated. Things you like, suggestions...I don't want to overthink it but I don't want to rush it, either!

It's clean and clear. I also got the work-manual vibe from it. Maybe get the license to use an image, like lava hitting the ocean or a fire retardant blanket putting out a small fire, or as a graphic use an orange and yellow starburst to represent the ODD.
