Chocolate Pudding Sub??
I watch this guy do tons of blood sugar experiments on himself, so when I saw him post this I was intrigued. I’m traveling this week but anxious to try this when I get back! Will you try it before me??
Easy Bacon Stuffed Peppers
That’s the whole thing basically. 1) Get mini peppers. Cut in half lengthwise and remove seeds. 2). Soften cream cheese in microwave. 3). Stir in precooked bacon bits (get good ones). Put cream cheese/bacon mix into peppers. 4). Bake until peppers soften - 20-25 minutes? 350 or 400? Ish 5). Optional- top with long grated Parmesan. Or don’t- they won’t last long… Minimal carbs from a vegetable. I don’t count veg carbs they are so few. Like 2. You won’t each too many cuz they are very satisfying. Stop eating them before it feels “heavy” in your tummy. Be happy. 😃 Easy, tasty snack with no sugar but yes protein and veg/ fiber.

You may be wondering why I am posting a picture of my trash from my snack :-) This is actually quite a victory! The other day, I tried this squeeze applesauce type packet in a blackberry flavor, along with a pre-wrapped piece of cheese for the first time. I liked knowing that I could get a small amount of protein with a little bit of fat for satiation from the cheese, along with the snack pack of Chia applesauce, which was 10 total carbs -3 g of fiber for seven net carbs. A little sweet, a little salty, a little filling- just what a snack should be with a little fiber and protein in it too. Super simple, quick and easy to pack. But the real win is that I tried this for the first time about 10 days ago. What’s hard about “dieting” is not knowing what to choose, or feeling like all of your on-target nutrition choices are not desirable. I LIKED this one. I had it 10 days ago, and this morning in a rush to run out the door, I realized I could quickly grab those two and throw them in my lunchbox and take them with me for the day. What I had done by taking the original action of trying this combination 10 days ago, was carved a new brain pathway of something familiar that had a good reward because it was tasty and satisfying. The hardest part of getting your nutrition easy, automatic and on track by default is finding those things that you like that become easy. Try this combo or one of your own and share what works for you to help you make good choices all the way through to the end of the day!

Yes. More chocolate.
Thank you Target for my not-so-sweet and salty pm snack. 11 of these babies (one serving) is 11 total carbs minus 3 grams of fiber leaving 8 Net carbs. Craving satisfied, zero guilt. My process: IF I decide I want these, I pour 11 into the lid, then REMOVE the open jar from my own reach so no “accidents” happen, and then I can mindlessly nosh as I work at my computer. Dark enough chocolate that it doesn’t spike cravings, and I love the freedom of the Free Carb approach - I can totally have this! Even more than once in a day if that’s what I choose AND keep massively on track to my goals. If you’re new here read more about Free Carb in ##8Beautiful Challenge Outline . Don’t feel restricted - be free! And satisfied :)
