2 months ago I suggested to Frankie to do an auction around the great results he's getting with his Youtube ad clicks.
He was easily on board and told me not to make him think too much and give him the goods to use... Also, Frankie avoids Zooms like the plague so we only had short exchanges on Messenger ...
Well, what I realised is that it also made me NOT think :O
Besides the fact that Frankie was busy all summer with speaking gigs and stuff, I didn't show signs of leadership.
I didn't tell him how the whole process would and should unfold for the best results, what is needed from him etc... That's the first auction I run so lesson learned but it's a pitty because there might have been some potential in there !
What happened yesterday is that he posted the pre-auction post as IF it was the auction post which leads to a few things:
1- it doesn't make sense as the post is written as "IF I was to do ... Would you ...".
2- There are no details as to what the bidding is actually going to be about despite us talking superficially about the WHAT.
So now I'm unsure on how to proceed - I've said to Frankie that I'll send him the posts and emails that should go next but he commented on someone's post saying the end of the auction is tomorrow so I'm here to confidently say it's a failure in plain sight :)
