So, after a few years of working on fundamentals and watching enough skate content on Instagram to see a lot of different styles, I feel very drawn to the Midwest smooth style of skating. Where I am in North Florida, you rarely see anything that resembles this. I have looked for tutorials on YouTube and mostly what I can find is fantastic videos of big skate sessions (like the STL Skills on Wheels vids) where I would have to just watch and slow it down and copy the moves. Anyone have any ideas? I am trying to teach myself the back rock and I have only found one little video buried in the rollerskating Reddit. Would love any and all suggestions! (I should clarify that I am not looking to learn how to partner/ballroom skate. It’s just me!)
