Anyone on an Avenger plate?
So Iโ€™m about to get some Color Labs but also need to narrow down a plate. I have an Avenger hanging around that I bought on a humbug. Kinda nervous because it has a different kingpin angle than what Iโ€™m currently on (Roll Line Mistral) and wondering how big the learning curve might be.

Such a personal preference for plates; the type of king pin as well as the different angle, the truck design, the cushions. It could simply depends on if you are wanting more stability or more agility but what kind of cushions do they use; is the adjustability highly variable so you can find your exact preference or need for your style of skating. So many things to factor into the decision. Whichever you choose for yourself, your body will adapt. I think that most of us are under utilizing all the variables a plate can offer but are any of us really performing at that level of skating that the plate is offering? I don't think that it would make or break our general skating enjoyment.

@Lisa Ray I have total faith that you will adapt to whatever you strap on those fully capable feet!
Indoor wheels
Hello!!! I am looking to buy some indoor wheels for my Moxi skates. What brand/hardness do you guys use for the rink? Iโ€™d consider myself a novice skater with basic skating knowledge. I tried Roller Derby 4 years ago but I didnโ€™t have the stamina lol. I was looking at the Riedell (yellow wheels)91a or the savants in a similar hardness? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

@Deanna C yes absolutely! Make sure the bearings are good and give them a roll. Occasionally I review my wheels by switching them for a session to decide what I liked or didn't like about them or if I still like them.

@Cheyenne Kingston VNLA are definitely for wider feet and you can get high or low cut quads. I don't consider my feet wide at all and I suffered with my Lolly skates. They are narrow!
Skate events
Iโ€™m probably newer than most of you all here but if anyone is just getting into skating like me, I strongly suggest going to different areas when they have skate events! I went to Loyal to the Wood in OH and mannnnn!!! Iโ€™m still in awe! The Cleveland style skating is so different but I was literally mesmerized watching them! 10/10!

Yes do it! I was on the Wed AM class by myself for months with KJ. I'm currently working skate camp 3 days a week so unable to attend.
