What Can Go Wrong Diagnostic
This client came in with a few misfires on her 2023 Nissan Epower Note (Hybrid). The vehicle was taken to a nearby service shop who stated that they are equipped and are professionally trained to work on hybrids. The client went in for an oil change and service (throttle body, oil and filters, etc). After the customer left the shop, fault lights appeared on the instrument panel and the car started to lose power. Now, some may say what could have happened between entering the service shop and leaving on a tow truck. Basically, the shop decided to go beyond and remove all of the injectors to service them (which was never done)and end up bending all of the injectors tips causes misfires. The vehicle carries 2 injectors per cylinder so its going to be a costly fix for this customer. This is why I am so serious about getting the necessary training or to train others so things like this can be avoided. A set of new injectors will be installed and the hybrid battery has to be removed from the vehicle to be recharged. This is the fix for this case study.

2011 Mercedes E220 cdi,
i have an issue with our family car. I have decided to try and diagnose this my self. 2011 Mercedes E220 cdi. Fault code P215011 “The power supply of injector group “B” has a short circuit to ground. I have found the damage to the wires leading to injector 3 & 4 as seen in the pictures. My question is, could this be the problem? Any help or advise would be much appreciated.
2011 Mercedes E220 cdi,
DV6 non start.
I have a 1.6 DV6 2012 Citroen Berlingo. Situation is crank, non start after customer (another garage) carried out an engine change and camshaft position sensor signal fault code. One engine was from a ford fiesta, same year and same engine code. Both vehicles were running before engine swap but Citroen engine had bottom end knock and fiesta had a rear end shunt. Fault code clears and returns on 3rd revolution. I have verified power, ground and signal at the sensor. Doesn't start on external fuel source (brake cleaner) My thoughts are does the fiesta have a different sensor compared to the Citroen? Next step would be to verify wiring integrity at ECU? Cheers 🙏🏻.
