Tailoring shirts
One of the things I learned how to DIY recently that I feel significantly improved my look: tailoring my shirts. I went on a deep dive YouTube session learning how to do it myself, bought a sewing machine, and have been obsessed with making my shirts fit properly since. For tall skinny guys like myself, your shirts don’t have to fit you like a potato sack!
Pics of the blue shirt I tailored this morning and wore to work today, and a picture of a shirt in the same size from the same manufacturer that isn’t tailored. What a difference.
Had to take in the sides on this shirt 2 inches on average, take in the sleeves an inch and a half at the arm pit, and added 3/4” darts to the back.
