First day back in the office in a few weeks. Other than knowing I will crash soon after just 3.5 hours of sleep last night, it's good to be back. My employees have rocked during my time out and I am grateful for their dedication to the company and each other. Sporting the new pocket square from Crucineli & Bella today and received a few new items while away. Look forward to sporting them soon, but also preparing for another trip beginning next Friday. Crazy summer!

Friday’s outfit was built around a warm-weather business classic palette: tan, navy, cream, rust brown, and polished silver/rose-gold accents. The Friday rule was a success: several low-wear pieces came into rotation, including NT-062, DSo-092, CL-034, and PS-042, each showing only 1 actual wear after today’s entry.

• Jacket — DOJ-012 (Haspel): A tan cotton seersucker blazer with cream and mid-gray tones, lightweight construction, and a matte finish. This keeps the outfit breathable and relaxed while still giving enough structure for an in-person medical appointment and P3 video calls.

• Shirt — DS-010 (Charles Tyrwhitt): A white non-iron cotton twill French-cuff dress shirt with a spread-point collar and mother-of-pearl buttons. The 5.5" spread collar, French cuffs, and high formality score make it a crisp anchor for the tie and cufflinks; use 2.25" collar stays.

• Undershirt — US-023 (David Archy): A white crew-neck undershirt in bamboo rayon. It gives comfortable, breathable coverage under the white shirt without disturbing the clean business look.

• Slacks — SL-023 (Enzo Tovare): Navy Wool Super 150 slacks in a light worsted fabric with a subtle sheen. These add business-classic polish while staying breathable enough for a warm July day.

• Tie — NT-062 (Brooks Brothers): A silk paisley tie in yellow, light blue, navy, and white. This was a strong Friday-rule win, with today being the first wear, and it brings camera-friendly brightness without overpowering the tan-and-navy base.

• Belt — B-010 (Magnanni): A caramel-brown leather belt with a slight swirl pattern and silver buckle. It ties the brown leather story together with the shoes and Mido watch.

• Shoes — DSh-007 (Allen Edmond): Chocolate-brown cap-toe Oxfords with Goodyear-welt construction and flat dark-brown laces. They are business formal enough for the in-person appointment while harmonizing with the tan blazer and warm accessories.

• Socks — DSo-092 (Mes Chaussettes Rouges): Navy and royal-blue birdseye over-the-calf socks in cotton lisle. Another Friday-rule achievement, this pair is also on its first wear and keeps the lower half refined but not loud.

• Cufflinks — CL-034 (Ratnavali Arts): Sterling silver compass-rose cufflinks with yellow-gold accents and central blue small sapphire stones (my birth stone). These also satisfy the Friday low-wear goal, with today being their first wear, and connect well to the navy trousers and blue tie accents.

• Pocket Square — PS-042 (Cruciani & Bella): A two-sided madder silk pocket square in rust brown, navy, tan, and mid-brown. With today being the first wear, it is another strong rotation piece; a puff fold would show the warm rust/navy tones without looking too formal.

• Pen — P-001 (Montblanc): The Montblanc 146 LeGrand fountain pen in black precious resin with platinum trim and Moderna Red ink. It adds a classic executive detail and fits the business-formal accessory tier.

• Ring — R-001: Platinum and diamond wedding ring. It remains the constant personal anchor in the outfit.

• Left Watch — W-009 (Mido): A brown-dial Mido automatic dress watch with rose-gold-tone case accents and brown leather strap. It supports the warm leather palette and remains relatively low in rotation at 6 actual wears after today.

• Ankle Watch — W-001 (Apple): Apple Watch 10 in Titanium Slate. Practical for a regular workday and health tracking, while kept visually hidden to the dress watch.

• Business Card Carrier — BCC-002 (Fort Belvedere): Brown/tan bison leather bifold clasp carrier with silver hardware. It reinforces the brown leather accessory family and is appropriate for in-person settings.

• Wallet — WL-002 (Fort Belvedere): Mahogany and petrol-blue full-grain leather bifold wallet. The warm mahogany leather coordinates well with the belt, shoes, and watch strap.

• Fragrance — FR-017 (Bleu de Chanel EDP): A woody aromatic fragrance with citrus, spice, and sandalwood/cedar notes. It is versatile, modern, and office-safe when applied lightly.

Friday Rule Summary: The low-wear target was achieved with multiple pieces that needed rotation: NT-062, DSo-092, CL-034, and PS-042 each sit on their inaugural wearing. The outfit also avoided looking like a random low-wear grab bag—the tan seersucker, navy wool, yellow/blue tie, rust/navy pocket square, and brown leather accessories all work within one coherent warm-weather business story
