In-person meeting with an out-of-state employee and then dinner tonight with an important client. I've tried to keep the suit unencumbered. I'm sporting a new watch as well.
• Suit — SJ‑014, SL-023 (Enzo Tovare): A navy Enzo Tovare 2-piece suit in Super 150s wool with a subtle sheen—cut in the modern Brit AMF style with roped & padded shoulders and high & tight armholes. The lightweight worsted fabric is supremely breathable while maintaining sharp business-formal presence. Notched lapels, dual rear vents, and fully lined construction project polished authority for client-facing meetings.
• Shirt — DS‑010 (Charles Tyrwhitt): A CT spread-collar French-cuff dress shirt in white Burlington-weave twill. Medium-to-high opacity with a soft hand, exceptional stitch density (5/5), and crisp non-iron structure. The 5.5" spread collar and square-edge French cuffs elevate the look to true executive polish. Best paired with 2.25" collar stays.
• Undershirt — US‑002 (Ralph Lauren Polo): A classic white cotton crew neck undershirt from Ralph Lauren. Reliably invisible beneath the opaque white dress shirt while providing all-day comfort for extended client meetings.
• Tie — NT‑023 (Fort Belvedere): A Fort Belvedere 3-fold wool challis tie in navy with white polka dots—self-tipped with a keeper loop. The classic navy-and-white combination echoes the suit's colorway while the challis texture adds visual depth against the white shirt. At 3.5" width and 57" length, it knots beautifully under a spread collar.
• Pocket Square — PS‑035 (Fort Belvedere): A 17" white Irish linen pocket square from Fort Belvedere with signature burgundy X-stitch edging. The burgundy accent introduces a subtle warm note that breaks the navy-white-silver palette without competing. A TV fold or puff provides crisp geometry against the navy jacket.
• Belt — B‑001 (Hanks): A Hanks Highlined black leather belt with silver buckle—fully lined, top/bottom stitched, and featuring pill-shaped holes. Removable buckle, excellent fit, and perfectly matched to the black TLB Oxfords. A serious belt for serious meetings.
• Footwear — DSh‑009 (TLB Mallorca): TLB Mallorca 307 Goya whole-cut Oxfords in black box-calf leather—Goodyear welted, Spanish-made, with toe taps and brass heel tacks. The elegant almond toe, beveled waist, and closed-channel leather sole project boardroom gravitas. A formal 5/5 shoe for in-person client meetings.
• Socks — DSo‑074 (Fort Belvedere): Over-the-calf extra-long-staple cotton socks from Fort Belvedere in black with tiny white dots. Hand-linked toes, excellent stay-up performance (5/5), and a refined pattern that echoes the tie's polka dots without drawing attention. Perfect business-classic bridge between shoe and trouser.
• Cufflinks — CL‑004 (Montblanc): Montblanc snowflake-emblem cufflinks in stainless steel and navy resin. The navy blue echoes the suit tonality while the silver disc complements the belt buckle, tie bar, and watch. A quiet luxury cue that signals attention to detail without being ostentatious.
• Tie Bar — TA‑011 (Sonia Jewels): A 2" polished sterling silver tie bar with slide-on mechanism. Clean, minimal, and perfectly aligned with the collar clip, cufflinks, and watch metals. Keeps the challis tie secured during client interactions.
• Watch — W‑008 (Orient): The Orient Bambino Version 7 with small seconds—a 38.4mm automatic dress watch in polished stainless steel with white/silver sunburst dial, dauphine hands, and subdial complications at 3 and 6 o'clock. The domed mineral crystal and black leather strap complement the outfit's formal character. Japanese craftsmanship meets classic dress-watch elegance.
• Ring — R‑001 (Ellie's Jewelry): Platinum and diamond wedding ring—the constant touchstone of personal commitment. Platinum metal harmonizes with the silver hardware palette of belt, cufflinks, collar clip, and tie bar.
• Pen — P‑002 (Montblanc 149): The legendary Montblanc Meisterstück 149 fountain pen in black precious resin with platinum trim. Piston-filled with Royal Blue ink and a buttery 18K gold BB nib. Currently out for repair (nib flow issue), but remains the ultimate writing instrument for client-meeting note-taking and contract signing.
• Business Card Case — BCC‑003 (Montblanc): A black leather Montblanc two-sided card case with zipped center section. Smooth leather, silver hardware, and structured elegance—perfectly aligned with the day's monochrome accessory palette. Ready for client card exchanges.
• Leather Carry — CRY‑002 (Carl Friedrik): The Carl Friedrik Palissy Double briefcase in chocolate brown Italian vachetta leather—vegetable-tanned with smooth finish. Features Smart Holder trolley sleeve, 15" laptop compartment, dual zipped main compartments, and brushed silver hardware. GQ-recognized, Italian-made, lifetime warranty. The consummate professional's briefcase for client meetings.
• Fragrance — FR‑016 (Creed Aventus): Creed Aventus Eau de Parfum—the legendary "king of fragrances" inspired by Napoleon Bonaparte. A fruity woody smoky profile with signature pineapple-birch combination: bergamot and blackcurrant on top, birch and patchouli at heart, oakmoss and ambergris in the base. Moderate-to-strong projection with 8-12 hour longevity. The benchmark masculine fragrance for making an unforgettable impression at client meetings.
Outfit Summary: A commanding navy suit ensemble built for high-stakes client meetings. The Enzo Tovare Super 150s suit anchors the look with lightweight breathability and sharp tailoring, while the Charles Tyrwhitt French-cuff shirt and Fort Belvedere wool challis tie create a sophisticated navy-on-navy-on-white foundation. The polka dot pattern of tie and socks provides subtle visual harmony without competing with the pocket square's burgundy accent. Silver metals (collar clip, tie bar, cufflinks, watch, belt buckle) unify the accessories, and the TLB Mallorca whole-cut Oxfords project true formal gravitas. The Carl Friedrik chocolate briefcase introduces warm contrast against the cool palette, and Creed Aventus ensures you leave a legendary impression with every handshake.
