Seeing the family off for their final trip of the summer. When they return next week, Logan heads to his dorms and Nathanial begins 8th grade. Montblanc agreed to exchange my 149 and I took care of that today. The senior associate in the store wrote with my old 149 and was appalled at the way the nib performed, immediately seeing the problems.

On the work front, I'm looking forward to having a weekend of catch up on our current crazy project, beginning with a meeting this afternoon to plan out next week. I find the Friday planning meetings let me begin Monday with a bang right away: everyone knows their immediate assignment when they arrive on Monday and can get moving.

I have not worn a pin collar in a while and find that my ability to fasten them up has dramatically sped up! The entire pin took less than 60 seconds. It might be a bit of a contrast to the more relaxed vest without a jacket look, but I rather like it.

Friday Rotation: Ivory, Italian Blue, Yellow Paisley, and Brown Leather

Friday-rule results: The outfit prioritizes lightly worn pieces: CL-029 has 1 recorded wear; NT-062, PS-019, TA-007, and FR-025 have 2 each; DS-038 and VWC-016 have 4 each. None is literally within the current 35 least-worn items because that group is presently occupied by zero-wear inventory, but the outfit substantially advances rotation while preserving harmony.
