It’s still rock and roll to me.

This morning, while I was getting dressed, I put on a horizontal seersucker tie that I have had since probably the mid 90s. I bought it at a mall store that my sister worked at the time called County Seat. I love this tie. It is very durable and has not started to wear from being knotted over and over. So I keep wearing it. This morning while putting it on question, “is this too wide?” Then, that got the Billy Joel lyrics in my head. “What’s the matter with the clothes I’m wearing, can’t you tell that your tie’s too wide“

So I get that song stuck in my head. I’m singing it to my wife while we’re eating breakfast. I’m singing it as I get in the car. On the way to school. It’s still in my head. I get into my classroom and sit down to my computer and turn on Pandora 80s station and what is the first song that pops up… ????

Craziness right? But anyway, give me your thoughts, is my tie too wide?
