Day 5 - Japan
Super Early start this morning with a wake up at 0430 or be ready to leave the hotel and head to the station to Catch the Bullet train to Kyoto.
Super smooth and very quick ride with a nice view of Mr Fuji 15 minutes in. Then a two hour trip. Once we arrived we locate our hotel and dropped our luggage and headed off to the first of our things to do, and it was amazing.
With went to the Kyoto Sumo club and were treated to a Sumo match, all you can eat and drink buffet and some fun and lightheatered entertainment. Easily one of my Top 2 things we have done so far.
After that we went for a walk around the area and I noted we were 9nl6 400 meters from the Kyoto Kuoe Watch store, so I convince me wife to let me go have a look. So many amazing watches and the sale staff and owners were super attentive and amazing.
After that there was more walking. We went and Ste some savoury pancakes (think okonimiyaki) and sat and chatted with the husband and wife owner, then headed off to the final event of a night walk through the area of temples and Geashia. What another fun adventure, one in which I would probably not have organised at night.
To 300km traveled, 14000 more steps and a whole lot of fun has me writing g this up at 2300 Friday for you all.
