CSA Shared Service Model
Hi. Does anyone here run a shared service model where specialized CSAs (for example: onboarding, annuities & insurance, financial planning specialists) assist multiple advisors?
We’re an RIA with ~$3B AUM and this specific group has 8 advisors - 4 CSAs. I’d love to hear:
  • How tasks are being routed to the right specialist (queue, CRM, other workflow system?)
  • Whether the advisors communicate tasks via CRM directly, or if there’s a central process / intake system that streamlines requests.
Curious how others have structured this and what’s working well (or not). Thanks!
