Yesterday I got back in the cold water for the first time this season.
Last year, I went 176 straight days. Back then, it was about proving I could “do hard things.”
This year, it’s about something deeper. I’m not chasing a streak anymore. I’m doing it because it’s part of who I am.
The novelty of hard things wears off. That’s when identity kicks in.
Keep showing up. One more day. Do it again.
That’s how you build proof of who you’re becoming. Be consistent.
