I’ve labeled the last few weeks as difficult. Last night while counseling a couple of young women, I realized that it’s not difficult —it’s buffering. When the audio or video isn’t quite catching up and they’re trying to sync with the internet. Then all of a sudden the sync happens and everything speeds up to catch up. And finally it all calms down and comes together. I’ve been working on my business, my health, with my family and in my home. I’ve actually enjoyed the quiet slower pace. It’s been quite lovely. The wins have been small, but enjoyable. Learning how to make sourdough bread. Win! Learning how to make gluten free sourdough bread. Not a win yet but baby steps. It was edible. And the chickens liked it. Learning to hatch eggs. Growing meat chickens to process soon Making fun herbal holiday gifts Attending real estate classes. Making a vision board Spending so much time with my daughter and many more… They’re all enjoyable and I’ve loved having this buffering time that has given me time to breathe and feel peace. My expectations of where I thought I’d be—that’s the battle that goes on inside me. I’m learning to allow the buffering to happen. Enjoy the buffering. Enjoy tiny wins that accumulate into bigger leaps forward. There is a season for all things.
