⚔️ WEEK 2 CHALLENGE: THE MOVEMENT MIX
October 12–18 Last week, we tackled 300 pull-ups. This week, we’re switching things up. Your challenge: Accumulate intentional movement throughout the week AND try at least 1 activity you don’t normally do. 🎯 PICK YOUR LEVEL 🟢 BASE: 150 minutes ⚪ STANDARD: 300 minutes 🔴 BEAST: 450 minutes 💪 WHAT COUNTS? Walking, running, lifting, cycling, swimming, hiking, yoga, Pilates, mobility, sports, or any other intentional movement. YES, your regular workouts count! 🔀 HERE’S THE TWIST Try at least 1 activity outside your normal routine. 🏋️ Always lift? Try yoga or swimming. 🏃 Always run? Try strength training. 🚶 Always walk? Try cycling or Pilates. 💪 Do everything? Pick something you’ve neglected. Even 10 minutes of something different counts. 📋 THE RULES ✅ Pick your level. Adjust if needed. ✅ Accumulate minutes over 7 days. No daily minimum. ✅ Mix activities. Your normal workouts count. ✅ Try at least 1 activity you don’t normally do. ✅ Modify as needed. Walking, seated exercise, and low-impact options all count. ✅ Recovery matters. Don’t push through pain or add unnecessary training. ✅ Track your minutes honestly. A missed target doesn’t erase your effort. No equipment or special app required. Just track your minutes on your phone, watch, or a piece of paper. Report your progress in your regular Friday check-in and share your final total here after the weekend. The challenge is optional and doesn’t affect Active 300 status. 👇 YOUR TURN! Drop 2 things in the comments: 1️⃣ BASE, STANDARD, or BEAST? 2️⃣ What’s the NEW activity you’re trying? Get moving. Try something different. Have some fun with it. LET’S GO, PROJECT 300! ⚔️💪
10/16 Friday Check-In
I got into a great groove this week. So far I've done 4 workouts, Days 1 & 2 of the Endurance track and 2 full body strength lifts. I still have to do Day 3 Endurance run (will post tomorrow/Sunday). For the movement week, I'm at 198/300. I've been getting to bed on-time, waking up on-time, hitting my macros/tracking calorie intake. Overall, it's been a great week!

10/16 Friday Check-In
Fri(10/16) check in
Did I get my movement in? • No…but I’m alive and back at work today. • I’ve kept hydrated and I’ve done mobility work. • I have a 5k tomorrow with my son(his first 😁). We will most likely walk the majority of it depending on how I’m feeling. Goals for next week • ease back into TKD - breaks as needed • light/moderate lifting - performance track with modifications as needed • try some zone 2 work while keeping my inhaler next to me just incase Grateful for the inspiration from everyone. Keep being the badasses you all are!
Cloudy with a chance of soreness 😁
We made it, another Friday 🙌🏻 Solid week, no new injuries so that’s the first W! Movement Challenge Minutes: 396/450 👊 🔥 Added 119m last night Got in 3/5 of my Int Performance Block sessions. Subbed in a 3+ mile ruck instead of the prescribed workout which would put me at 4 workouts. Loving the Performance block workouts as it’s forcing me to push through my weak spots telling me I chose the right one 🙌🏻 How’s everyone else feeling? Enjoying your choice or wishing you picked a different one? Stay healthy out there and let’s crush the day and the weekend!
Cloudy with a chance of soreness 😁
