Checking In
Hey all! Sorry for the absence. Things have been quite busy for me as of late (socializing, making sure nothing explodes at my house, etc.), so I’ve had my hands full. I wanted to give you guys a little progress update about my journey to go from being a “chud” to being a “chad” (just stupid late Gen Z/Gen Alpha slang) as I get more physically active and strengthen myself. I also am aware about the late night timing that I am posting this (insomnia is a real piece of work), so I will make this quick: For starters, I have not been using my planking board often — BUT! I have been keeping myself on my toes and moving around frequently to ensure things don’t go wrong at Casa de Gettmann. The major reasons why I sort of fell outta the habit with planking is because A.) my terrible sleep schedule, and B.) constantly being pulled in every direction while also having weaponized autism (ASD, ADHD, and Tourette’s altogether — I forget why I walk into rooms sometimes) can really disrupt my focus. But there is some good news to come out of all this! My lower back posture no longer makes it look like I’m in my 9th trimester, and my stomach has gotten a little bit flatter. I’ve also been logging my calories and watching how much I’ve been eating. Anyways, I will keep you guys posted on my journey so far! I’ve also decided to go for a simple change to my wrestling gimmick and instead go by Ivan Blackthorne rather than Ivan Richter. To end off this late night post, I’ll leave you guys with this question: How many times have you guys gone back to the drawing board for your wrestling gimmick? Bonus question: What were the ideas that didn’t stick the landing and why? Good night!

Thank you
Just 30 minutes of @Josh Gerry time will make you feel like and want to accomplish anything even if it has nothing to do with wrestling. 30 minutes, and I feel like I know what I need to do. Thank you Coach for 30 minutes of your time! Seriously take 30 minutes outta you day to let him help you walk through life and put a path in front of you for success.
Real Talk!!!
How do you know you’re 100% healthy to step back in a wrestling ring? How do you know that you have that confidence to do it? when you wanna bet on your self but don’t really have the funds to it and you feel that window closing? Do you just go with it? Do you just jump in the fire and roll with it?
Promoter & Booker Course Accountability Post
If you’ve gone through the Promoter & Booker course, don’t just close it out and move on. Apply it. This course was built to change how you think about: - Structure - Decision-making - Responsibility - What actually makes a show work But none of that matters if you don’t use it. Your Accountability Drop a comment below using this template: 1) One thing I understand now that I didn’t before: 2) One mistake I’ve seen on a show (and why it happened): 3) One area I want to improve or learn more about: Keep it simple. Keep it honest. This is where you turn awareness into growth. Why This Matters Most people will go through this course and do nothing with it. Don’t be that person. The ones who improve are the ones who: - Pay attention - Think differently - Apply what they learn Coach’s Reminder Good ideas don’t build better shows. Better decisions do. Poll Question: What is the biggest issue you see in most wrestling shows?

Referee Course Accountability Thread
Accountability Thread: Don’t Skip This If you made it through this course, you should have more clarity. But clarity without action changes nothing. This is where most people stop. They watch. They agree. They move on. And nothing improves. That’s not what this is for. Your Next Step Post your response below using this format: 1. My biggest weakness as a referee right now:(Be honest. This is where growth starts.) 2. My immediate next step:(What are you going to fix or improve first?) 3. My 90 day focus:(What are you committing to getting better at?) The Standard Do not overthink this. Do not try to sound impressive. Be honest. Be direct. Be clear. Why This Matters Most referees stay stuck because they never define what needs to improve. They just “try to get better.” That’s not a plan. This is. Public commitment creates pressure. Pressure creates follow-through. Final Note If you are serious about improving, start here. Post your response. Then go to work. Poll Question: What concept changed your perspective the most?
