Commentary - The Hardest "Easy Job" in Pro Wrestling
A lot of people think pro wrestling commentary is just calling moves. It’s not. Commentary teaches the audience how to react. It tells people what matters. It adds emotion. It builds tension. It helps moments feel bigger. It helps talent connect with the crowd. Good commentary can make a moment feel important. Bad commentary can make a great moment feel flat. That’s why timing matters. Tone matters. Energy matters. And sometimes, silence matters too. A commentator is part of the storytelling process. Not the star of it. If you want to become better at pro wrestling commentary, stop focusing only on talking. Start focusing on making people feel something. That’s the real job. For the journalistic professionals out there, what has been the toughest aspect of mastering commentary, in your opinion? Poll Question: What's your personal opinion on the difficulty of commentary?

I know something like this is not that easy but what I do know is that there are many different types of skills that are in commentary and I really enjoy doing these practices to get an idea and some advice on them so that I can learn more about what I can and can’t do or say.
Tag Team Wrestling
Whether they are childhood friends, relatives, family members, or even put together tag team wrestling is the goat. Believe it or not tag team wrestling started 1950s, and for years it has spun generations of wrestlers from the 70s, 80’s, 90’s and 00’s who became famous tag teams for example The Road Warriors, The Steiner Brothers, Harlem Heat, The Outsiders, The APA, Edge and Christian, Beer Money inc, America’s most wanted, The USOs, The new Day and the list goes on and on. I loved watching tag team wrestling growing up my favorites were Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio, Paul London and Brian Kendrick, The Hart Foundation, and The Brothers of Destruction.

TLC matches made tag team wrestling more watchable especially when it’s for the tag team championships
Wrestling championship belt designs
I love wrestling belts especially the designs of the championship belts. There have been tons of them throughout the years starting in the 1950s. For example the WWWF , AWA, NWA, WCW and WWE including the independent wrestling companies and around the world have several awesome belt designs. Now don’t get me wrong I love the heavyweight title designs but let me tell you it’s the mid card championship designs that are really great for example the intercontinental and United States heavyweight championship belts from WWE and WCW are awesome including the IWGP US title. There is also the WCW world TV title, the HOG Crown Jewel Championship, even the Openweight Championships from NJPW and MLW, but the championship belt designs I really like are the Cruiserweight Championships from WCW and WWE.

No Off Season
Every year around this time, you start to see the same pattern in independent wrestling. Late Spring into early Summer. Some promotions start slowing down. Some “tax return season” companies run out of money. Some towns get harder to draw in because families are traveling, kids are out of school, and schedules change. And suddenly… A lot of talent starts saying: “Bookings seem slow right now.” But here’s the reality: Pro wrestling does not have an off season. The people who stay consistently booked usually are not the people waiting for opportunities to magically appear. They are the people: • following up with promoters • sending updated match footage • improving their presentation • posting consistently on social media • networking at shows • staying professional • staying visible • staying useful This industry rewards momentum. If you disappear for 2 or 3 months, the business keeps moving without you. That’s why this time of year matters so much. Summer can either become: • the season you lost momentum OR • the season you separated yourself from everyone else who got complacent. Question for the group: What are YOU doing right now to make sure bookings continue through the Summer months? Are you changing your outreach? Updating gear or promos? Posting more content? Traveling more? Learning new skills? Building relationships? Drop your strategies, plans, or goals below. Somebody else in this group may learn something from your answer. Because talent gets you booked once. Professionalism keeps you booked. Poll Question: “What are you focusing on MOST this Summer to stay booked?”

I’m still on content creations and I still have to practice more on Dark Matches and if I have time I will definitely look into titlematch and watch the first AML live event
Wrestling Promos
I love watching wrestling promos, each time I watch these is like a soap opera, or a movie trailer. But there's always the music that hypes up the rivalry storylines( I'm talking about a promo you see on TV) or like when a wrestler talks in front of a camera sending a message to an opponent. Here's three examples: I don't own these videos https://youtu.be/pdOtS_3N4Yg?si=aczcsSMS399-5Kf2 https://youtu.be/nG71K9VC0U0?si=NtSkTc2QG2aeLsow https://youtu.be/v5fFH8Bq43Q?si=VtDEzY175oNaCtVV
