Has anyone had their Etsy account security locked? Looking for advice
Hi everyone, hoping someone can help or share their experience.
My Etsy shop HereAndNowRetail was security locked yesterday with the message "We've noticed possible suspicious activity on your account." I believe it was triggered by a high volume of new listings added in a short period after relaunching a dormant account.
I've done the following:
- Contacted Etsy support immediately
- Completed both identity verification links they sent
- Replied confirming verification is complete
- Followed up after 24 hours with no response
I have active listings and recent orders. Etsy are citing higher than normal support volumes.
Has anyone experienced this and how long did it take to resolve? Any tips for speeding up the process would be hugely appreciated.
