Bounding / Hops & Medball Throws
Where do you put your Plyo work in your programming and why?
Tonight we did our warmup, running drills and run throughs, then some bounds and hops, before our Acceleration / Sprints.
My reasoning was that I wanted the athletes to feel Activated and Dynamic and feel a strong push off in the first 10metres.
Medicine ball throws were done after all our running and done more as a conditioning circuit finish to the session.
Sometimes we do Medball work before Acceleration work.
