How We Jumped from $30K to $100K/Month Profit in 30 Days (No BS)
Want to hear something wild? In November/December our agency was stuck at $30K/month profit. Not bad, but honestly, it felt like we were running in place. Then—almost overnight—we tripled our profit, hitting $100K in a single month. And no, it wasn’t some massive overhaul. It was just a few key changes. Today, I’m breaking down exactly what we did, why it worked, and how you can apply the same levers to your business. Here’s the truth: It's probably taken me 4 years to figure this out. I made every mistake—burned ad budgets, watched margins shrink, and spent too many late nights wondering why growth had stalled. Most agency owners never fix this. They keep grinding, hoping next month will be better, but nothing changes. If you don’t get this right, you could be leaving millions on the table. So, what actually changed? It wasn’t just one thing. It was a combination of 4 levers—all pulled at the right time. But one in particular had the biggest impact (I’ll reveal that in a sec). Let’s rewind to December. Historically, December is tough for lead gen—finance slows down, ad costs spike, and people are distracted. Our cost per lead shot up from $40 to $54. We did $170K in lead sales, but after ad costs, we were left with just $31K in profit—a 20.5% margin (our worst month in years). I started questioning everything: our offer, our traffic, even our niche. But I remembered January is usually a strong month. If we didn’t fix our CPL, though, we’d be staring at another mediocre month. So, I did something different: I went back to the data. I looked at every step of our funnel, every ad, every touch point. Where were we leaking money? Where were we losing leads? Where were competitors outperforming us? That’s when I noticed something: One of my students in the paid Skool community was quietly crushing it in finance using Heyflow funnels and custom event matching to send more data back to Meta. I was skeptical, but figured—what do we have to lose?

🚨 Real PPL Results (No Fluff) 🚨
One of my DFY clients, Kessin, just dropped an update in the paid community and it’s a perfect example of how fast Pay Per Lead can move when the foundations are right. We launched his B2B broker funnel in December. Here’s what happened ⬇️ • 50+ mortgage broker leads generated via Facebook • Cost per lead: ~$15 • 75% contact rate (yep 😮) • $20k+ already in the January pipeline • $5k cash collected before the year even kicks off This is why B2B PPL is so powerful. Brokers are hungry, margins are strong, and speed to revenue is real. ⚙️ Want this done for you? I’m opening 1 Done-For-You build slot for Q1 2026. half way through jan wins
Yo team, whats happening! Hope you are all winning to start the year. I signed up for Billy's DFY at the end of last year, and launched in jan which has given me insane speed to market. Been having some insane luck thanks to billy's guidance and also the brand he set up for me. 42k closed/invoiced for Feb and just secured a 50 lead trial ($170per lead) with a big fish who will scale to 280+ leads a month from March. As well as some other seriously big buyers sitting / negotiating at the moment. Some simple but effective advice, if they are annoying on the sales call, they are only going to get more fucking annoying, so be careful who you work with. Your brand is more important than anything, make sure your website and brand is as clear and professional as possible, the ads means fuck all if your website is dog shit, my best performing ads (70+ meetings booked for $15.77 per meeting) were made on canva in 30 seconds. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need help, im no master, but am giving it a red hot crack.
Daily profit cracked $5k, its been a while
Haven’t posted a win in a while, but as you might know January is always the cheapest CPA month of the year…. Yesterday we cracked our first $5,107 profit day in months.. A nice change up from December where we averaged $998/day in profit. Yes the PPL game has its ups and downs… I know I sound disappointed with numbers like this when most of you would be ecstatic … I believe they call it…. hedonic adaptation? We always want to climb a higher mountain, but I digress. Point is things can look dark before the dawn. We were struggling last month, so we pulled some levers.. New landing form, new ad hooks…new bid cap campaigns. They all seemed to help.. plus January being well..January.. We are seeing big numbers again. So the moral of the story is don’t quit when things are not great. Dig in and get to work. Fair chance you know exactly what to do…there’s only a handful of levers in this game. Ads, landers, forms, tracking….that’s it. You just gotta do the thing. To your success. - Billy
Why my clients pre-pay $187k without a sales call.
We just wrapped up our Year-End promo. $187k in deposits vs. $72k on Black Friday. The secret isn't a better sales script. It's removing the friction. (This is why I LOVE PPL) We treat our agency like a vending machine: You put money in, you get leads out. No retainers. No "let's hop on a call to discuss billing." No explaining to them what’s happening in the ad accounts. Because we have a self-serve portal, clients just log in, deposit money, and choose the leads they want. They don't care about the backend—they just want the inventory. This makes our life easy: 1. We get paid upfront (Cash Float). 2. We remove the sales team (Scale). 3. We remove the reporting (Freedom). It’s honestly the only way to scale to $1M/mo without losing your mind. Simple is best. PPL is best. Now, back to vacation. ✌️
