I see it all the time and have been through it so many times... Wow what a great opportunity! You dive in with huge energy...hit some difficulty, lose energy, lose hope....grind and grind...it feels hard...will this even work? The tendency to quit is huge at this time! But it is just a test. Can you persist? Can you figure it out? You have to find the right advice. But more importantly trust your gut and intuition. Only you can really solve this stage. Then you see a win or two. Then you get kicked in the face again. Then it seems like it will never amount to much. It was a dumb idea all along, or someone else is to blame. A bunch of other opportunities now look WAY MORE APPEALING!! But you don't quit..not yet. Then, you go through the very dark night. Just when things seem their absolute worst, if you stay the course, you'll see a break through. The night is literally the darkest before the dawn. Then the sun rises. Informed optimism, you've now arrived. You know what it takes to succeed now. Before you had an incorrect assumption of what it would take. But now that you know, you just have to do the thing again. And again. That is it. Just keep going. Can you relate?
