📣 SCREEN FLOW CHALLENGE: Create Child Campaigns from Parent Campaign Record
Real-World Scenario: At NeoBuzz Electronics, the marketing team regularly launches large-scale campaigns such as “Q4 Smart Home Product Launch.” Each of these campaigns needs to be broken down into smaller sub-campaigns like: - Facebook Ads Campaign - Email Blast Campaign - In-Store Promo Campaign Currently, reps are creating these child campaigns manually, which often leads to confusion, errors, and missing links between parent and child campaigns. The business now wants a Streamlined Flow to help reps easily create sub-campaigns directly from a parent campaign record. 🎯 Objective: You’re tasked with building a screen flow that allows users to manually create a Child Campaign from any Parent Campaign record, using a screen that pops up when they click a button. When submitted, the new campaign should be: - Created as a child of the campaign they launched the flow from - Populated with details filled in by the user on the screen 🧾 Fields to include on the Screen: - Campaign Name (Text field) - Type (Picklist) - Status (Picklist) - Start Date (Date field) - End Date (Date field) - Budgeted Cost (Currency field) Also include a Confirmation Screen to notify the user that the campaign has been created successfully, showing the name of the parent campaign. Create a lighning button, and embed on the campaign page and link it to your flow, to trigger the screenslow on click 💡 Take your time, think like a real Salesforce Admin, and solve this exactly how you would if you were working on a real project.
