Community Onboarding
Just completed the community onboarding path and I am truly excited about what lies ahead. My key takeaways were
- stay consistent even when I'm not motivated. This could mean setting a time each day or week when you will be engaging with the course, and for me that is every Thursday and Sunday at 4PM CAT .
- Set SMART goals. I am yet to make the SMART but the main goal for me is really to acquire the practical skill and put in use in different environmental settings.
- kept emphasis that we are transitioning to a tech career and while that could be true for most of us. I think for me really is to acquire the skill and learn how they could complement each other with the skills i already have. I.e. can i combine my Corporate Governance skills with Salesforce Admin Skills? Looking forward to seeing how i could do both and sharing with the community.
- And with that i think it is safe to say that my vision is to specialize in digital governance and compliance, using salesforce and AI to design systems that support ethical decision making, regulatory compliance and effective board oversight across organizations.😉. It could change but for now that's what it is..
